Pomeranian Puppies Shipped from Mexico to the USA
We are an FCM and FCI-registered Pomeranian breeder in Puebla, Mexico, and we already ship puppies to families in the United States. Here is everything a US buyer needs to know, and we answer your questions in English.
What the USA requires to bring in a dog
These requirements apply to every dog entering the United States from Mexico, which the CDC classifies as low-risk for dog rabies. Rules can change, so always check the official CDC and USDA APHIS pages before travel. Your airline and destination state may add their own requirements, such as a rabies vaccination.

At least 6 months old (CDC)
The CDC only admits dogs that are 6 months or older and appear healthy on arrival. You can reserve a younger puppy today and it travels once it reaches that age.
Microchip (CDC)
A microchip that can be read with a universal scanner, to identify your puppy.
CDC Dog Import Form
A free online form. The receipt you get by email is shown when the dog arrives in the USA.
Screwworm health certificate (USDA)
USDA APHIS requires a health certificate from a veterinarian approved by SENASICA (Mexico) stating the dog was inspected for New World screwworm within the 5 days before shipment.
Two ways to ship your puppy
Each option has a different price that depends on your destination city. Tell us where you live and we send you a quote.
Cargo
Your puppy flies in an airline-approved crate to your destination airport.
In-flight nanny
A person travels with your puppy in the cabin and hands it to you at the destination airport.
